Creative titles will be creative. But whatever. This gets the point across. Either way, I just finished watching the episode 3 of the anime based off the Atlus game, Devil Survivor 2. (I'll try to keep the spoilers out of this, don't worry. And yes, you can watch it online. So, if you support Atlus or just plain curious, head over to crunchyroll.com, okay?) Either way, first things first. The whole thing's about how Tokyo is struck by an earthquake and for some reason, monsters start popping up all over the place. A bunch of people (like the protagonist and his friends, for instance.) are capable of combating those monsters by summoning their own from their cell phones. (I know, weird. But give the whole thing a chance, okay? It's actually better than it sounds.) Either way, they start helping a mysterious organization get to the bottom of the whole mess and find the one behind it. And protect the world from being overrun by monsters. No pressure, everybody! If you fail, the whole world'll be pretty much destroyed, and who knows what else'll happen?
Either way, the third episode's ending was rather depressing and shocking. To not spoil anything, let's just say that everything the heroes tried to prevent has managed to happen even though they seemingly prevented it and leave it at that. And yes, somebody did die in progress, how'd you know? (Answer: it's Atlus, they know how to be depressing.) But, because what follows will probably be one huge spoiler, I'll stop rambling for now. You'll have to watch that for yourself to know what else's happened, but the ending will be depressing. Don't say I didn't warn you!
Thanks for reading and see ya!
