Alright, Bayle! This one's for us and other Artemis Fowl fans! And yes, Rocket and Chole, I'm very well aware of not being allowed to talk about Artemis Fowl, but you never said I can't write about it on my blog! So, yeah, morale of the story? Never leave any loopholes in challenges or bans on talking about specific book series! Especially if you're dealing with a devious and scheming person like me!
Either way, for those who never heard, Artemis Fowl is an awesome book series by Eoin Colfer! Basically, it's about a kid who happens to be a heir of the huge criminal empire. However, his dad's whereabouts are unknown and his mom's not dealing with it too well. So, when the money's running out, he hatches a desperate plan... (This is pretty much book 1 in a nutshell.) Later books chronicle his various adventures that involve saving the world and may involve a bit of time traveling. Oh, and did I mention that all sorts of fantasy creatures are living underground and nobody knows about that? And that our protagonist made acquaintances and later friends with some of their police and maybe one of their criminals? And yes, those things are indeed in there, but I won't tell you more. So, feel free to pay your local library or bookstore a visit and see if they have any of the books in the series. There're 8 books in the series and I don't think anymore are coming out any time soon. But I'm warning you, read from the beginning, otherwise you might not understand some things! Either way, if you like good humor, adventure and just a good fantasy book, this is for you!
